As
true Dogo Argentino lovers, we are dedicated to providing healthy,
home-raised, well-socialized puppies to responsible people who are
looking for a wonderful family companion. Our Dogos are
registered, and we follow a careful breeding program that focuses on
health, conformation, temperament and ability. We show our dogs in
conformation classes, and offer puppies for both pet or show, with
breeding quality puppies available on occasion to approved breeding
homes. Puppies are raised underfoot in our home where they are lovingly
handled from birth to the time they are placed with their new families.
This early socialization helps to form the foundation for an excellent
disposition.
As responsible breeders, we make every
possible effort to ensure that our Dogos are healthy and free from
congenital diseases prior to breeding. Our dogs are tested for hip and
hearing problems, and are regularly vet checked and vaccinated. Puppies
undergo a thorough vet screening and we provide the new owners with a
veterinary certificate of health. Puppies are guaranteed against
congenital health defects for a full year from the date of purchase. Pet
puppies should be spayed or neutered at the appropriate age; we strongly
recommend this to guard against irresponsible breeding practices.
Dogo Argentinos are very special dogs
that should only be placed in homes where they will receive the care,
attention and training that this breed requires. We look for
people who have thoroughly researched the Dogo Argentino breed and are
ready and willing to accept the responsibilities that go along with
owning one of these wonderful but headstrong dogs. A securely fenced
yard in a country or suburban setting is important, as is the
time, resources and facilities to provide for the puppy's needs.
You should also be willing to attend obedience training classes with
your Dogo puppy.
If you are interested in exploring the
