(Gavilan De Thunder Mtn X Liongate’s Venom)

This little devil of a Dogo can only be described as a firecracker, full of explosive energy. If Energizer Batteries ever met this Dogo they would fire the bunny and offer Tikal a contract. She can run and run for days. Thankfully she only barks when necessary. Tikal is very aware of her environment and knows the schedule like clockwork. She even knows when the UPS man is on his way up the hill. She has the heart (and appetite) of a lion and will defend her family and toys to the end. Tikal quickly became one of the family after bringing her home from Liongate Kennel. And even though she’s the youngest member of the family, Tikal thinks she’s running the show. The other Dogos are okay with her thinking so, because down deep - they all know that Jez is in charge. There’s nothing Tikal likes more than to play tug of war and pester Kalea. While she does love to tease the other Dogos, she is also very thoughtful. A nice sunny day will always find Tikal collecting all the bedding she can find, in order to make a community nest for all our Dogos to lay and sun themselves on. Yes, it was written in the stars for Tikal to be one of our Dogos. We named her “Tikal” after the Mayan ruins we visited on our honeymoon. Much to our surprise, we found out she was born on the date of our wedding anniversary – definitely meant to be. This fearless, friendly Dogo holds a very special place in our hearts.
